What to do when street parking is verboten? Easy...

Just park on the sidewalk.

  2. I dont think many people know that most homes in san francisco sidewalks have about four squares from their house to the actual street, and if they look at their copy of their deed they will see the square footage of their property line and if they measure it from the back to the front they will find that their property line ends at the first two squares of the cement! This means property owners own the first two squares of the cement and the other two belong to the city. So in short the city does not own the part of the side walk and have no reason to enter private property! I got a ticket and fought it and the judge dismissed it. The DPT are a bunch of crooks who are taking advantage and stealing money from inocent residents to help close a budget they are unable to manage. Residents need to re-elect city people who will manage with respect!
